A Strange and Mysterious Hidden World: The Ocean Twilight Zone

June 16, 2021

Lyndsey Lefebvre, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Woods Hole, MA

Explore the ocean twilight zone (OTZ) and the weirdly wonderful creatures that live there as we venture into the deep. We’ll learn how these animals are specially adapted to this dark, cold, and vast part of the ocean, how they hide, how they hunt, and what robots we’ve built to investigate all of these questions.
