WHOI Sea Grant Ocean STEAM Powered Women Fellowship

  • Residential summer research experience for rising juniors and seniors in high school, 1 week.  All costs are covered.

New England Aquarium Teen Programs

  • The aquarium offers a variety of teen programs including summer paid teen internships.

Sea Education Association in Woods Hole, MA

  • There are a variety of high school programs both on shore or at sea ranging from 2 to 3 weeks.

WHOI Summer Student Fellowship (SSF)

  • Residential summer research experience for rising seniors, 10-12 weeks. Stipend, housing and travel allowance provided.

Community College Research Experience at WHOI (CC-CREW)

  • Full-time summer research experience for MA community college students. Stipend provided and travel allowance provided.

WHOI Blue Economy Internship for Cape Cod Community College students

  • Includes short course and research internship placement for spring semester (part-time). Stipend and travel allowance provided.

WHOI - UMass Dartmouth Internship

  • Includes short course and research internship placement for spring semester (part-time), co-advised by WHOI and UMassD advisors. Stipend and travel allowance provided; WHOI housing provided for 3 weeks on-site.

Woods Hole Partnership Education Program (PEP)

  • A program of the Woods Hole Diversity Initiative.  Residential 10-week summer research experience for undergraduates, including a 4-week course for credit. Stipend, housing and travel allowance provided.

Inclusive NOAA Fisheries Internship Program (IN FISH)

  • Full time 10-week summer research or management experience including 2 weeks of a course for credit.  Stipend, tuition, and course supplies provided. (Locations across the country)
