I. “Plastics in the ocean: science and potential student experiments” by Dr. Christopher Reddy, Marine Chemistry and Geochemistry Department, WHOI

II. “How animals defend themselves against pollutants: the chemical ‘defensome’ ” by Dr. Jed Goldstone, Biology Department, WHOI

- Join us for insight into the problem of coastal and terrestrial plastics pollution,
- learn how students can do experiments to study the problem in your area,
- discover animals’ genetic mechanisms to deal with environmental contaminants
