Woods Hole Sea Grant invites qualified individuals to submit applications for the Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship. Approximately thirty-five individuals are selected nationally for this prestigious Fellowship to spend a year in Washington, D.C., working in Congress or the Executive Branch on critical marine policy and resource management issues. Nominees must be enrolled in a U.S. accredited graduate or professional degree program in a marine or aquatic-related field in the U.S. or its territories as of February 21, 2018. Applications are due to Woods Hole Sea Grant by 5:00 p.m., on Friday, February 23, 2018. Selected applicants will be interviewed by the Woods Hole Sea Grant Director after application materials are received. Applications will be first reviewed by an ad hoc committee of WHSG personnel. Final submission of up to (6) application packets is due to the National Sea Grant office by April 6, 2018. For the Fellowship Class of 2019, the selection process and subsequent notification of finalists by the National Sea Grant College Program will be completed in June 2018.
