Woods Hole Sea Grant is thrilled to welcome new Science Communications Fellow Poonam Narotam. Poonam began her year-long fellowship in October, after having graduated from Northwestern University with a master's degree in journalism. Poonam hit the ground running at Woods Hole Sea Grant, focusing her attention on communicating about our funded research and extension work through articles, video and social media.
This month, Poonam spent some time in the field with Research Coordinator Jennie Rheuban and Extension marine team Abigail Archer, Harriet Booth, and Josh Reitsma, measuring clams and oysters and collecting water samples in the Three Bays Watershed on Cape Cod. Here's a look at that research.
