Filmmaker Paul Hillman, NOAA Fisheries Communications Office in Seattle, WA
Science can be a tough nut to crack for a lot of people, and sometimes getting the information straight from a scientist can be full of technical jargon and difficult to understand. But science is the backbone for many of the decisions and policies that we make at NOAA, and we want to effectively communicate this science to you. To do this, we have a team of filmmakers that create videos that illustrate our science in educational and entertaining ways. Tune in to learn more about how to make science films, and to learn about a career in science when you’re actually an artist! The webinar will last about 45-60 minutes with moderated questions and answers throughout. This webinar will be recorded and posted afterward.
