Slideshow: Exploring the Fundamentals of Shellfish Farming in Wellfleet

The Fundamentals of Shellfish Farming class, led by Cape Cod Cooperative Extension agents Diane Murphy, Josh Reitsma, and Abigail Archer, spent a beautiful Sunday in April wading in the water in Wellfleet, learning about oyster propagation from grower Irving Puffer.  Irving, who owns Puffer Petites, has worked this oyster grant on the flats of Wellfleet for several decades and generously shared his time, knowledge and some great stories with the class.
